The Saints won the Super Bowl. I was dissapointed, I wanted to see more offense (and so did my wallet), but was left with 3 quarters of crappy football. This was basically the equivalent of Groundhog’s Day for the city of New Orleans. If Drew Brees had come out of the tunnel saw his shadow and got scared, there would have been one more week of “normal” life in the city. But Brees didn’t get scared and now Mardi Gras came 9 days early. This is why if I had a business, it would not be based out of New Orleans. Nothing would get done. Ever.
Also Peyton Manning choked, bringing back the Manning Face. I hope to see an updated ManningFace.com in the next few days. Also, he is still tied with Eli for Super Bowl and SB MVP trophies…

Houston Rockets – Lost to the Sixers on Saturday. I think teams are figuring out the key to defeating our scrapalicious team. Kyle “Mike” Lowry also injured his ankle and left the game on crutches.
Houston Astros - Something about an arrest or fight or something… I dunno I’m not a doctor (or lawyer).
Houston Texans – Watched the Superbowl from home as a coach they could have hired, and a QB they could have aquired hoisted the Lombardi trophy. Good job the past 4 years Texans… (also good job Cowboys for putting stock in the wrong assistant coach in Jason Garrett, Peyton could have been your guy too).
Houston Cougars – Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. The fighting Merms lost a close one to Larry Eustachy’s Golden Eagles. Eustachy, who leads the league in drinking Busch Light at frat parties could not be reached for comment.
Rice Owls – Also lost to UAB on Saturday… did any Houston team win a BBall game Saturday? (Yates, I’m looking at you)
