If there is anything we love at FaF, it is conspiracy theories. Septimus Rex is actually in West Palm Beach, FL stalking Tiger Woods as we speak. Well now let me introduce some Craig James conspiracy theories!
Craig James may be interested in running for senate.
Could this be a ploy to garner some attention for “name recognition?” We all know the endless douchiness of James, especially now that he is the national media version of Vinny Ravielle. Maybe he is trying to use his son’s football prowess to catapult him into office, and since his son couldn’t be the next white Wes Welker, the problem must be with Leach. Is Craig James trying to pull a Mina Brees? Hey Craig James, that didn’t even work for her and her son is good at football. Now the question is whether or not James will follow in Mina’s footsteps of extortion attempts followed by suicide. (Over the line??? awww fuck it, it’s staying)
Now, Leach’s lawyer is giving tours of the “facilities” to the media. On a personal note, my dad is siding with Leach’s lawyer solely because they wear the same jacket out in public. Also, Adam James is being called a no talent ass clown by both his current offensive coordinator (couldn’t find the statement online) and former ones like UH offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen (link here). In fact, Holgorsen’s statement was before anything was even leaked to the media…. hmmmm.
Leach’s 10 AM hearing to determine whether he can coach in the Alamo Bowl has now been deemed “open to the public.”

Houston Rockets – Out scrapped the Hornets last night. After David West torched the Rockets in the 1st half, Carl Landry was quoted in the huddle as saying “Put me on him coach! I can out scrap him!” in which Rick Adelman replied “That-a-way Carl! Thats the scrapitude I want to see from you guys!”
Houston Cougars – Lost to directional Louisiana last night…. The only question is should be buy FireTomPenders.com and link it to FaF or should we?
Rice Owls – Beat McNeese State last night in Dungeons and Dragons hoops led by Sahel Arselan Kazemi (too soon?). Did Rice drop to D2 when I wasn’t paying attention?

I’d be shocked if no one owns firetompenders.com…but it could get you guys some good run…maybe i could add an extra batter to scampi’s nipple clamps and get him to mention it in tha chron. Seriously though…I thought we were gonna fire him if we didn’t make the tourney…I’m talking about the big one…now it looks like we might end up near .500.
LA Tech looked like a pretty good team from where I was sitting. If we woulda hit a few more free throws and didn’t get dicked as bad by the refs we’d have won.

Maybe the whole student section is in Fort Worth by this time yesterday, who knows, but I doubt it…
I best not waltz over to Coogfans and see fantasies of making the tourney without winning the conference tourney. That was already a tough road to hoe before the losses to anything remotely resembling fixtures in the Dance (Nevada, San Diego, Miss State) plus the junk losses like last night and the ones we know are bound to happen with 33% shooting and getting beat down by 30 on the boards like clockwork along with the round of losses in CUSA send the guys right back to a cutting edge tourney.
