Song of the Day – Phish “The Wedge”

Wow. I can’t believe someone would make a video like this to teach our children why LSD is awesome how to play tee-ball. I’m pretty sure this is how my golf coach taught us to play golf in high school for the team, except there was no one shooting us with a camera, and then animating what we thought we saw.

In other news, the LPGA tour has an event in Houston that starts today. The Chronicle has listed their players to watch. Apparently, they use a different criteria than I did when I gave you my players to watch.  I would give you more details, but I think we all have better things to do like go to work, watch internet porn, play the awesome to Super Mario Bros. Wii game that came out Tuesday… etc.

However, I will say that I am kinda disappointed that Michelle Wie got her first LPGA victory last weekend. She’s no longer hot now, because really the only thing she had going for her was that you thought she would fail out of golf and become attainable to the average guy.  I had kinda planned on her flaming out in the LPGA, then having a mental breakdown like Britney or Lindsay Lohan, leaving the door open for me to bang her even though she didn’t make my list of LPGA golfers. I can say that right, I think she’s finally  legal now.

Houston Rockets - Beat the T-wolves last night. They keep racking up the W’s.

Houston Texans -Are getting a lot of coverage for the MNF game this week, but none of it is actual news. I can write stuff you already knew, I’m a professional writer, look at me.

Houston Cougars – Beat Nicholls State in the BBall opener. Also, no one care, because they won’t be a tourney team. However, we did sign an un-athletic 7-3 center from Africa via a community college in Florida. I hope he went to that community college that is on the TV show with Joel McHale, those two chicks are hot!

  1. Great post today. Good stuff.

So you don’t think the Coogs will be a tourney team? I don’t follow college basketball closely enough to know one when I see one…but if that’s true that sucks…again. I got the impression that we were going to be pretty good this year.

On the other hand…even though Pops Mensa Bonsu can’t find his way onto the floor, I am in love with this young Rockets team. Why can’t the Astros follow suit and go young? I would love to see some young foreign kids tearin it up at minute maid.

    • I have given up on the BBall program. I would rather be pleasantly surprised than continually disappointed.

It will be interesting to see how the rest of the league adjusts to the Rockets style of play as the season wears on. It would be cool if the can keep it up.

      • If Penders doesn’t make it to the Tourney then he is DONE SON! And to be honest, rightly so. You can only be a middling team in a Conference like ours for so long, either sh1t or get off the damn pot.

  2. Pipez, your boy Sumlin is a G…

    • Awesome!

      • Listen to the pod cast…It was truly a thing of beauty.

Lopez asked him one question and Sumlin went on the attack. Made John Lopez look like a real jackass

        • AWESOME. Lopez is a cock of the highest order, and Sumlin is MAN.

          • Smack that bitch up!

  3. Screw my internship project. I will become a golf fan today. Okay, maybe cut maybe make a really short visit to Jersey Village for internship biz and then become a golf fan.

Pops will be getting his floor time in Toronto now. If he stays on long enough, my post-graduation/Christmas sight-seeing trip to NYC just turned into my second week of goofing off in Toronto this year. Except I won’t have a conference to attend this time. Oh well, the Air Canada Centre isn’t too terrible a walk from the dorms I stayed in at the U of Toronto…

I won’t dismiss the Coogs as a tourney team just yet, until I hear Penders give the same ol’ “Well, that 300+ RPI rated team we just lost to is a really solid team and we expected them to come back!” speech that kills the season. The suspense will build as this won’t happen to them until at least game #2 this season–hopefully not unwil mid-March, but you know the drill. I still remember Pender’s schpiel after the Georgia Southern game like it was yesterday, although lemmings on Coogfans will tell you that you really did not hear what you heard although you swear you heard what you did. Go figgur.

  4. Who is going to be mailing it in today kiddos? I am wanting some Memphis trash talk today, before I have to watch college football while eating cereal in the morning.

I will be at Robertson btw, and eating cereal in the stands.
