But on the other hand, our QB is running circles around every other QB in the nation…including Colt ‘Can I throw this ball?’ McCoy.

No one is allowed to talk about our defense sucking except for us!!!!

(They really are bad though, mainly due to youth and injuries, but still)

– UCF’s secondary is wretched. The Horns’ passing game is really good, but the Knights made us look like … well, like UH’s passing game. I would be shocked if Keenum doesn’t go off for 600.
– Their D-line, on the other hand, is really pretty good. They joined a long and not especially illustrious line of teams shutting down our running game, but they do have some legit talent there.
– I have no idea how their offense will do, and I’ve given up trying to figure out what UH is going to do on D (outside of suck). They started out pretty well against us in the run game, but they still ended up with right around just 150 yards total.
– Not that it really would have mattered, but they sat a couple of guys against us, leading O’Leary to have some amusing tussles with their local media. I’m guessing those players will be back this week.
– Which leads me to my next point: I think they’re basically seeing the game with you as their bowl game. They’ll throw everything they can at you. They gave us a real tough game at Bright Networks Stadium a couple of years ago.

Even with the UTEP debacle in mind, I would think the Coogs should win handily. That 11 a.m. start is worrisome, but in watching UH this year, I haven’t noticed a tendency to start slowly – unlike another team I could name. Something around 54-38 seems to be on order.

UCF is destroyed by UT and we win by 1 point over Tulsa. Now we have to play at UCF…..

Oh yeah… UTEP was destroyed by UT, and we won by 1 point over Tech…. Then we went to El Paso
