It’s a slow day at work, not to mention in the sports world. Tuesday is worthless like that. It’s not the dreaded Monday with the upside of having MNF later on. It’s not “hump day,” which practically never lives up to its name. It’s a kind of midday purgatory with no upside.
So, in that vein I went ahead and set up something that should make everything a bit more interesting (or at least allow you to waste a couple extra hours during work):

Yeah, yeah… We know we’re getting into week seven already. Maybe we should have started this group a long time ago. But, Fourth and Fifty is nothing if we’re not unprepared (that was a sentence filled with negatives…). So, join up and take a shot at dethroning our Spread Picking King (no homo), Reginald Blackstone.
Winner of the league gets the opportunity to spend a day walking in the shoes of an actual FaF writer. He/She/Shim can write about anything they desire in one (1) post (which technically will be one more post than Wanks musters next week). Since Chad already writes a fucking blog in our comments section he’s automatically disqualified (just kidding… I think).

I don’t have the luxury of an editor, so it tends to get a little wordy. This hump day we get to see Tulsa and UTEP on ESPN…so there is that to look forward to.

Anyone get UH men’s hoops season tickets yet? They are doing allocations for new season ticket holders on the phone, fwiw.

Negative on the hoops tix, but I am considering it.
Is our basketball team gonna be good this year? I am not a college basketball fan…only watch the Coogs on TV when they play Memphis.
Not to spam on the cheerleaders but I sure hope so – I got two aisle seats around center court. Plenty of good seats left. $195/seat for 15 games isn’t bad either.
