What the Rockets just did to the Blazers:
86-83 Rockets. Great game that gave me an ulcer. Some observations:
Scola is big-time. And his UPS commercials do work.
Carl Landry looked like he had live legs. Bouncing around like he was shot out of a cannon. Perhaps that is not the most discrete analogy.
Von Wafer’s first shot came 10 seconds after he entered the game. Then he threw down a few Von Wizzile dunkizziles. We haven’t seen that type of explosiveness from a backcourt Rocket since before McGrady’s sex change. Mark Jackson called Wafer a poor man’s John Starks. Right on.
Pretty good team D – the Blazers scored just 8 pts in 10 minutes to start the game. Another great Battier game – he jumped over a downed Blazer to close out on the shooter in Q2. And he didn’t overrun the shooter! Battier also looked for his own shot on occasion. He is a gentleman of leisure and I shall vote for him when he runs for President in 2024.
Loving the double penetration of Mike Kyle Lowry and Petsmart Big-timer Aaron Breezey. You know who else loves the double penetration.
The Artest experiment isn’t working out, and you know it, although he didn’t have any bad shots in the first half.
Good for Greg Oden in the 3rd quarter. The injuries haven’t been his fault, and he’s a good-natured chap. But why the hell did the Rox let Steve Blake go all Stockton from time to time? Thank God the second to last shot was a POS. Also, I thought Steve got shot in the bathroom at the end of American History X.
McGrady sat on the bench looking like a skinny Brian McKnight. I want my motherfucking $21 million back. You deserve a bailout even less than AIG.

I knew the Rockets will bounced back in Game 3. All they need to do is protect their home court and they will be okay. The win from Game 1 was so crucial so they should screw things up at home.
I have great respect for the Blazers but they are still young but now lets leave destiny in the hands of the Rockets to full fill that long awaited dream.
Hats off to Scola was his big performance tonight. Every shot which he nailed was huge and again I’m so happt he got the better of Aldridge. Please check out my match review, and what do you think about the prosoect on Game 4?
