Saturday is a really slow one for us today. I know you come here expecting in depth analysis of all the latest Houston sports news. And to you, we salute you… with a single finger pointed in your general direction. We’ve neglected our Dynamo coverage recently, and for that we’re sorry.
We know that all you soccer fans out there that read this site (exactly one by my count) are drooling over the newly started season. So, let me make it up to you. I mentioned yesterday that the Dynamo are signing Ade Akinbiyi of the Burnley football club in England.
Instead of getting all “factual” on you… Let me offer you this. Videos. Because Vids are worth a thousand words, and sometimes even have a thousand words in them… you know, because they can record people talking. Never mind. Apparently he’s quite the hit with the Home Shopping Network demographic in England.

It is a shame the video producers at Youtube didn’t use Aux Lunera (the Requiem for a Dream song) for the last video. Ass to ass, Ade Akinbiyi! Did he sign with the Dynamos (plural of Dynamo, and don’t argue the point) just to get away from the British C-Net guy? “This piece of jewelry reminds me of the anal beads I use when watching football every evening…whos’ with me? (awkward pause) Moving right along…”
Any time your highlight video has to include you missing a bicycle kick and elbowing a player in the back of the head, you have to wonder where your career is going. To the MLS, that’s where. When you’re not good enough for the English equivalent of the minor leagues, you go to the MLS.
