Oklahoma will soon face off against Syracuse in the NCAA Tournament. I picked them to win in my tournament bracket, so if I were you, I would find the closest bookie and bet on the Orangemen. So far I have had a tendency to pick the loser. Moving on… this stellar team is led by the NCAA dunk champion Blake Griffin. The dunk champion is one of the most coveted titles in all of sports. Today the Griffin Brothers appeared on ESPN to speak about the upcoming matchup. When Blake Griffin isn’t playing basketball he has got to be one of the most boring individuals in the sport of basketball, on second thought the world. I don’t understand how someone can be so electrifying on the basketball court, and as soon as they step off of it transform into a lifeless drone, that takes talent. He tries to spice things up by wearing douche bag blazers as you can see from the above photo. The personality runs in the family because Taylor was equally as mind numbing to listen to today. I just don’t think the Griffins have got much going on upstairs. Blake actually kind of reminds me of another incredibly humdrum (that’s right, I said humdrum, big whoop, want to fight about it) basketball player by the name of Tim Duncan. In fact the entire Spurs team is mundane. That’s why I think Blake Griffin would be perfect for the Spurs, he would feel right at home. Not sure exactly where I’m trying to end here, I think I just wanted to take a shot at the Spurs.

It’s ok, he will be the #1 pick this year, and Spurs will be far from it, and his style of basketball is far from Tim Duncan (when was the last time anyone said Tim Duncan was electrifying on the basketball court?). I don’t see Griffin putting people to sleep on the court with good fundamentals, and making SMART decisions and being known for his INTELLIGENCE. But he has been injured enough this year for the Rockets to have an interest in him. It would be nice to see him, McGrady and Yao all in street clothes at the end of the bench.

Totally know him… We had a really in depth conversation about really interesting things, like the alphabet. He barely got to “D” but I was pretty excited for him. He yelled, “D, is for DUUUUUUUUUUUNK!” Kid’s got a bright future.
